YouTube TV Expands To Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth
Online streaming video site YouTube said this morning that it is making its subscription YouTube TV service available in Texas for the first time, with service in Houston and Dallas-Forth Worth. According to YouTube, it is adding Washington, DC, Houston, Atlanta, Phoenix, Detroit, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Miami-Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando-Daytona Beach-Melbourne and Charlotte, as well as Dallas-Forth Worth to the list of cities it is supporting through the $35 per month service. The expansion into the new markets is the first expansion of YouTube TV since its launch in April, when it launched in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay Area, Philadelphia and Chicago. YouTube TV offers up a wide range of content from cable networks, plus local feeds from ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC.
