Capital Factory Heads To Dallas

Capital Factory, the Austin-based startup accelerator and coworking space led by Josh Baer, is headed to Dallas, in a deal with the The Dallas Entrepreneur Center (DEC), the two said on Tuesday, in an effort which will better tie together efforts to boost startups in Austin and Dallas. According to the two, the partnership will bring the Capital Factory accelerator to Dallas, as part of a statewide move for the two. The organizations said the expansion is the first in launching a Texas Wide network for entrepreneurs which will "bring the best of both worlds together for the benefits of entrepreneurs, investors, innovators, and mentors." Both Austin and Dallas have been seeing a boom in technology activity, jobs, and startups, with growth both in new companies as well as a surge in regional offices for high tech companies across the globe.
