Capital Factory Offers Up $100,000 To Defense Startups
Austin's Capital Factory announced on Thursday that it has launched a new, investment challenge, where a company will receive a $100,000 investment for their efforts to help the U.S. Army modernize. According to Capital Factory, the new $100,000 Defense Innovation Challenge is seeking five technology startups, all of which will be accepted into a new "Defense Innovation Track" at the startup incubator. Capital Factory said the move is part of the finale of the J.P. Morgan Texas Startups Roadshow, a gathering which will gather together tech investors and innovators who are investing in Texas. Capital Factory said the competition will be judged by a panel of successful entrepreneurs, defense industry leaders, and venture capitalists.
