LVL Technologies Raises $6.75M

Austin-based LVL Technologies, a startup developing sensor platforms for wearables, has raised $6.75M in Series A funding. The funding was led by the Samsung Catalyst Fund, and also included Maxim Integrated Products and other investors. LVL Technologies was formerly known as BSX Athletics, and is led by founder and CEO Dr. Dustin Freckleton. LVL Technologies says it has developed a sensor platform which measures a body's critical vital signs, including hydration. The company was formerly known as BSX Athletics.
