Securus Technologies Buys JLG Technologies

Dallas-based Securus Technologies, which provides communications and phone service to jail inmates, GPS tracking devices, and other related services to the law enforcement industry, said it ha acquired JLG Technologies, a supplier of biometric analysis tools for the law enforcement sector. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. JLG Technologies was based in Framingham, Massachusetts. JLG Technologies' tools are used to monitor prisonr phone calls.
