Techstars Cloud Alum Ilos Videos Raises $1.5M

Ilos Videos, one of the companies which went through the Techstars Cloud program in San Antonio last year, said last week that it raised $1.5M in a seed round of funding, from Austin-based investment firm Active Capital. The funding also included Ingram Content Group and Hyde Park Venture Partners. Active Capital is the investment fund of three, former Rackspace employees. Ilos Videos was part of Techstars Cloud in February of 2016. As part of the funding, Pat Matthew, founder and Managing Director of Active Capital, has joined the board of Ilos Videos. Matthew was the founder of Webmail.us, which he sold to Rackspace in 2007. Ilos Videos develops software that is used to capture video from computers, annotate it, and use that video for training in companies. More information »
