Rebuild Texas Fund Awards $2.15M, Has Raised $70.7M In Total

The Rebuild Texas Fund, the hurricane relief fund organized by the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation and the OneStar Foundation to help victims of Hurricane Harvey, said this morning that it has awarded its first $2.15M from the fund. According to Rebuild Texas, the funding went to well-established organizations with a strong track record and a local presence working to help Texas communities recover from the devastating impact of Hurricane Harvey, including sixteen local organizations. The Rebuild Texas Fund detailed the list of projects being funded in this initial grant. The fund says that to date, it has raised over $70.7M in donations since Harvey.
