GenXComm Connects With $7M
Austin-based GenXComm, a developer of wireless communications technology that it says can double uplink and downlink speeds on 5G and Wi-Fi networks, has raised $7M in a Series A funding, the company said today. The funding was led by Intel Capital, and also included Azure Capital Partners, Bandgap Ventures, Capital Factory, FAM Capital Partners, Lip-Bu Tan, UT Horizon Fund and WS Investment Co. GenXCommsays it is developing simultaneous self-interference cancellation technology, which enables full-duplex links for Cable (DOCSIS), Wi-Fi, 5G and the Internet of Things. Sriram Vishwanath is co-founder and CEO of GenXComm.
