Square Buys DFW Delivery Service

Silicon Valley-based small business payments provider Square has acquired Fort Worth-based Entrees On-Trays, a restaurant delivery service serving the DFW market, Square announced Thursday morning, to help it expand its Caviar restaurant delivery service to the region. Financial terms of the asset acquisition were not announced. According to Square, the acquisition will help add dozens of popular local restaurants to its Caviar food ordering platform.
