E2open Buys Birch Worldwide, Entomo

Austin-based supply chain marketplace E2open said Thursday that it has acquired two companies, Birch Worldwide and Entomo, both provides of software for channel data management. Financial details of the two acquisitions were not announced. Birch Worldwide provides incentives management that helps companies with effective use of market development fund (MDF), co-op and channel rebate programs. Entomo is a developer of CRM software, used to help manage manage pricing, incentives, rebates, and commission splits.
