RVshare Gets $50M From Austin's Tritium Partners

Online RV rental marketplace RVshare has raised $50M from Austin-based investor Tritium Partners, the Ohio company said this morning. According to RVshare, its peer-to-peer RV rental marketplace is now being used by 60,000 RV owners across the US. RVshare said it will initially receive $20M from the funding, to focus on enhancements in user experience, marketing and hiring. The company also said its new CEO, Jon Gray, was the third employee of Austin-based HomeAway. RVshare's headquarters are in Akron, Ohio. More information »
