ECS Learning Systems Acquired By Asteria Education

San Antonio-based ECS Learning Systems, a provider of test-prep and learning systems, said today that it has been acquired by Asteria Education. Financial details of the buy were not disclosed. According to ECS Learning, Asteria Education acquired substantially all of the assets of ECS Learning Systems, Inc. and Novel Units, LLC. ECS Learning Systems was founded in 1982. Asteria Education, led by CEO David Cumberbatch, looks to have been formed specifically for acquiring ECS Learning Systems.
