AT&T Acquires AlienVault

Dallas-based AT&T said on Tuesday that it will acquire Silicon Valley-based AlienVault, a developer of unified cyberseurity management software. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. AlienVault was venture backed by Intel Capital, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Trident Capital. AT&T said the acquisition will help it expand its enterprise-grade security solutions.
