SpareFoot Adds On With storEDGE Buy

Austin-based SpareFoot, the online self storage marketplace led by CEO Chuck Gordon, has gobbled up yet another self storage technology company, storEdge. SpareFoot--which was recently acquired by private equity investor Cove Hill Partners--said that it will merge storEdge into the Sparefoot and SiteLink self storage family. Sparefoot also recently acquired SiteLink. According to the company, Gordon will continue to be at the helm of the combined companies. SpareFoot said it will continue to support and invest in all three products and organizations. Cove Hill Partners acquired SpareFoot back in March, merging the firm into SiteLink at the same time. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced.
