SpareFoot Adds Texting Alerts For Facilities

Online self storage marketplace SpareFoot said over the weekend that it has added new, texting alerts and support to its set of tools it provides to self storage facilities. According to SpareFoot, it now lets facilities receive a cell phone text alert whenever someone reserves space at their location, so that they can more quickly make a follow up call. The company said it added the feature because it found that calls back within the first 10 minutes of a reservation raises move-in rates "significantly" amount clients.
