Grid4C Ties On Home Appliance Diagnosis

Austin-based Grid4C, a developer of predictive analytics and machine learning software, says it has tied with home services marketplace HomeAdvisor, to inform consumers of appliance faults. According to the two, they have launched a "value add" service for energy providers which will alert residential customers when they have faulty or inefficient home appliances. The two said the new service uses artificial intelligence software and smart meters, to help guide residents to the home improvement professionals in HomeAdvisor's marketplace. Financial details of the deal between the companies were not announced.
