Crossroads Revs Appliance Software
Austin, Texas-based storage provider Crossroads Systems said this morning that it has released a new version of the firm's ReadVerify Appliance. The company said that its appliance, which is used to alert IT administrators to tape media degradation and for monitoring of storage backup, now supports support for certain Sun tape libraries and has better integration with SNMP and other management protocols. Crossroads also said that the San Diego Supercomputer Center is now using its products.
