San Antonio's 100 Taylor Street Sold To H5 Data Centers

San Antonio's only carrier hotel, at 100 Taylor Street, has just been acquired by Denver-based colocation and data center provider H5 Data Centers. H5 Data Centers announced this morning that it has acquired the 85,000 square foot data center, and carrier hotel at 100 Taylor Street downtown. According to the company, the acquisition is its first in Texas, and brings its total data centers owned to thirteen. The company did not say how much it paid for the new data center and carrier hotel. H5 Data Centers said the acquisition will help it expand in Texas, and said that San Antonio is both a key point of interconnection between long haul routes, and is also one of the safest locations for a data center from a risk management perspective.
