Shopgate Powers Mobile App For Mizuno

Austin-based e-commerce software developer Shopgate says it is powering a new, updated mobile app for sports equipment and clothing manufacturer Mizuno. According to Shopgate, Mizuno USA's new mobile app is powered by Shopgate, and offers such features and as geofencing for push notifications, including messages tuned to location and proximity to a Mizuno dealer. Financial details of Shopgate's support for Mizuno's app were not announced. Shopgate's CEO is Marc Biel; the company provides its ecommerce software to online retailers.
