SAIC Sets Up New Austin Office At Capital Factory

Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC), a large provider of consulting services to the defense, space, federal civilian, and intelligence markets, said it has set up a new office in Austin, in a move that it hopes help it accelerate innovation at the firm. SAIC said its new office--which will be at the Capital Factory--will also put it close to the new Austin-based Army Futures Command. SAIC called Austin "one of the nation's start-up hotspots". SAIC says it also has participated in a new space accelerator in partnership with Techstars and Starburst.
