Online Home Buying, Selling Service Offerpad Expands To San Antonio, Austin

A real estate startup, Offerpad, which allows homeowners to get nearly instant offers on their home, says it has expended its service to two more markets in Texas, and will start offering up its services in Austin and San Antonio. According to Offerpad, it has opened up a new office in San Antonio covering both markets. The company said the home buying and selling service now extends to over 250 cities in the four largest metro areas in Texas. Offerpad recently raised $975M in funding for its efforts to expand services. Offerpad allows homeowners to submit information about their property, and receive an offer for purchase within 24 hours. The company is looking to help homeowners bypass the usually long process of preparing and listing their home for sale, and then turns around and sells those same properties after doing the work to get them ready for a sale.
