Spiceworks Adds Verified Pros

Austin-based IT software and community service Spiceworks, which offers up IT software and a related community where IT professionals can trade tips and information, is taking a clue from the Twitter "Verified" checkmark feature, and is adding its own "Verified" feature. According to Spiceworks, it has added anew "Verified Professional" checkmark on members of its community. The orange check mark next to a username indicates that a user has submitted their work email, job title, and other information to Spiceworks, which the company says will let community member understand who you're talking with, including where they work and what their role is within the tech industry.
