Whole Foods Gets Amazon Prime Day Deals

Austin-based Whole Foods Market, which is owned by Amazon, is getting a slew of exclusive deals tied into Amazon's "Prime Day", the two said this weekend. According to Whole Foods and Amazon, members of Amazon's Prime program who spend $10 at Whole Foods Market either in store or on Prime Now, will receive a $10 credit to use on Amazon for Prime Day. The offer comes in addition to special Prime-only deals on fruits, meats, energy bars, and many other items. Whole Foods said it will also offer 10 percent off sale items and other deals to Prime members as part of the big Amazon sales event. The $10 deal is similar to last year's co-promotion offer.
