Diodes Acquires Lite-On Semiconductor In $428M Deal
Plano-based semiconductor maker Diodes Incorporate has acquired Taiwan-based Lite-On Semiconductor, in a deal worth $428M, Diodes announced on Thursday afternoon. According to Diodes, the deal is worth approximately $428m in a cash-based share swap. Lite-On Semiconductor has approximately $230M in trailing twelve month revenues and approximately $91M in cash. Diodes said the deal will bring it to a combined twelve month trailing revenues of approximately $1.5 billion; the company says it is hoping to reach $2.5 billion in revenues by 2025.
