AmazonFresh Expands Grocery Delivery To Houston
Amazon said on Thursday that it has expanded its AmazonFresh grocery deliver service to Houston, as part of an expansion in three cities it announced on Thursday. According to Amazon, Phoenix, Houston, and Minneapolis all have been added to AmazonFresh, a subscription grocery delivery service which it charges $14.99 per month for on top of a customer's existing Prime subscription. Amazon says that delivery is free for orders over $35, otherwise, it costs $9.99 per order for groceries, with an option for another $7.99 to get an order delivered within an hour. In addition to the usual groceries, Amazon said Prime subscribers can also order electronics and health and beauty products; in Houston, Amazon says it will also deliver beer and wine to "select customers".
