Trend Micro Acquires Immunio

Dallas-based Trend Micro announced this morning that it has acquired Canadian security software developer Immunio, in a deal to bolster its efforts in the DevOps and hybrid cloud security area. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Immunio had been based in Montreal, Canada. According to Trend Micro, it has acquired Immunio's application protection technology, their team of application security experts and their customers, and use it to expand its hybrid cloud security offerings for the DevOps lifecycle, and in particular to enhance its security for containers.
