2X Software Acquired By Parallels

Dallas-based 2X Software, which develops application virtualization, remote application delivery, and mobile device management, has been acquired by hosting and virtualization software developer Parallels, the two companies said Wednesday. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Parallels said that 2X Software's virtual desktop and application delivery software would complement its own set of virtual desktop software. 2X Software was led by Nikolaos Makris.
