Administaff Buys Software Firm
Houston-based Administaff, a provider of outsourced human resources services, said today that it has acquired the assets and operations of Galaxy Technologies, a provider of time and attendance software. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Administaff said the costs and first year operations are "not material" to its 2010 results. Galaxy Technologies offers software-as-a-service used for tracking time and attendance, and has around 1,5000 customers. Administaff said the firm will become its new Galaxy Technologies division. The buy is the second in as many months for Administaff, which just acquired expense report tracking firm OneMind Connect last month.
