BRS Labs Sells Patents

Houston-based Behavior Recognition Systems (BRS Labs) which develops artificial intelligence software, said it has sold some of the intellectual property and patents owned by the company to Avigilon. Financial terms of the sale were not announced. BRS Labs said the sale includes a portion of its intellectual property associated with its legacy products. BRS Labs says it is developing artificial intelligence software used for for video, intelligent alerting and operations assistance for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), information security, and other business functions.
