Byrne Medical Acquired By Cantel Medical

Houston, Texas-based Byrne Medical, a designer and manufacturer of disposable infection control products for gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy procedures, has been acquired. New Jersey-based Cantel Medical Corp. said it paid $100M for the company, including $90M in cash plus 401,123 shares of its restricted stock. Cantel said Byrne had revenues of approximately $38.6M for the twelve months ended June 30, 2011.
