TVA Medical Gets $9.5M More

Austin-based TVA Medical has raised $9.5M in a Series B financing, to go towards validation of its technology. According to TVA Medical, the new funding round was led by S3 Ventures, and also included TriStar Technology Ventures and Sante Ventures. TVA Medical is developing a medical devices to treat End-State Renal Disease (ESRD). The company said the new funds will go towards further validation of its technology and for additional clinical studies. TVA Medical was founded by surgeon William (Billy) E. Cohn, MD, and incubated out of Sante Ventures. More information »
