CompassLearning Name Sales, Marketing VPs

Austin-based CompassLearning, a developer of K-12 education software, said Thursday that it has named Fred Waugh as the Vice President of Marketing and Alan Sexter as the Vice President of Sales. Waugh was most recently at Convio, and also has served at Tivoli, Sun Microsystems, and Compaq Computer. Sexter was previously at PLATO Learning, and also had been at Gatway Computer, AT&T, and the Air Force. CompassLearning is headed by Eric Loeffel.
