Dell Buys Boomi

Round Rock-based Dell announced today that it has agreed to acquire Boomi, a maker of software-as-a-service integration software. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Boomi, which is based in Berwyn, Pa., develops software which helps companies transfer their data between on-premise applications and cloud-based software, particularly Salesforce.com's CRM software.
