e-MDs Acquired by Marlin Equity, Merged With MDeverywhere

Austin-based electronic health records (EHR) software developer e-MDs has been acquired by private equity investor Marlin Equity, and merged with MDeverywhere, a portfolio firm of Marlin Equity. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced by the companies. e-MDs CEO and founder David Winn is retiring as a result of the acquisition.
