Eltek Valere Promotes Schoyen to Marketing Chief

Eltek Valere reported Tuesday that it has promoted Morten Schoyen as chief marketing officer. The Richardson, Texas-based firm said Schoyen has been with the company since 2000 and previously served as vice president for industrial power. In his new role, Eltek Valere said, Schoyen will report to Knut Aven, the company's chief executive. Eltek Valere, which provides DC power systems to telecommunications and industrial markets, said Schoyen earlier worked for ABB, Eltek Energy, Nera Excom and Nera Satcom. Eltek Valere was formed from the June 2007 merger of Eltek Energy and Valere Power.
