Ensysce Biosciences Raises $1.5M
Houston-based Ensysce Biosciences, a nanotechnology firm which is applying carbon nanotube technology to cancer treatment, said Thursday that it has raised $1.5M. The funding came from the Texas Emerging Technology Fund. Ensysce said the new funding will go towards preclinical development of its technology. The firm is based in the Biotechnology Commercialization Center in the Texas Medical Center. Ensysce Biosciences said it is collaboration with both the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and Rice University in its research. The company is headed by Dr. D. Lynn Kirkpatrick. More information »
