HomeAway Buys Escapia

Austin-based online vacation rental marketplace HomeAway said Wednesday that it has acquired Escapia, a provider of vacation rental software. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. HomeAway said that Escapia and its 25-person staff will continue to operate out of its headquarters in Seattle. The new acquisition comes just a few weeks after HomeAway's acquisition of Instant Software, and brings the number of employees at the company to 735.
