KLD Energy Snags Motorcycle Expert

Austin-based KLD Energy Technologies, the developer of electric propulsion and generation systems aimed at the electric vehicle market, said Wednesday that it has snagged an automotive and motorcycle expert to help head up its business development and research group. The firm said it has hired John Bautista, who has previously served at such companies at Zero Motorcycles, to lead the group. KLD said Bautista will be responsible for identifying and analyzing new market and product opportunities for the company. Bautista was Director of Mechanical Engineering at Zero Motorcycles.
