Gazzang Snags Cloud Architecture Expert
Austin-based Gazzang, the Austin Ventures-backed startup developing data encryption for the open source stack, said today that it has named Dustin Kirkland as Chief Architect at the company. Kirkland was most recently at Canonical, and has been involved in the Ubuntu Orchestra project, along with open source porjects Byobu, PowerNap, Bikeshed, Musica and Pictor. He has also served at IBM. Gazzang is run by Larry Warnock.
