Gazzang Deploys On GoGrid

Austin-absed Gazzang, the provider of encryption software for cloud-based databases, said today that it has deployed on GoGrid Exchangem, a cloud computing provider. Gazzang said the move would allow GoGrid's customers to encrypt data and limit data access to their cloud computing deployments within GoGrid. Gazzang develops encryption software which works for such databases as MySQL, which the firm says does not require changes to existing databases or application code. Gazzang is backed by Austin Ventures, and is headed by Larry Warnock.
