North Carolina Firm Buys Banking Software From Austin Company

Velocity Solutions, a developer of financial software based in Wilminton, North Carolina, has acquired a line of banking software from Austin-based Sheshunoff Consulting + Solutions, the firm said this morning. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Velocity Solutions said it acquired the Deposit Score, Platinum Overdraft and Pricing Partner software developed by Sheshunoff Consulting + Solutions, which is used by banks and credit unions to manage their account overdraft limits. Velocity said the acquisition includes staff from Sheshunoff and an installed base of customers.
