ESO Wins Management Deal For Three States
Austin-based data and software company ESO, which provides services to the emergency medical services (EMS), fire departments and hospital market, says it has assumed responsibility for managing EMS data systems for three states. According to ESO, it is now managing data systems for North Carolina, South Carolina and West Virginia, during a "transition period" for systems previously managed by the EMS Performance Improvement Center (EMSPIC) at the University of North Carolina (UNC). Financial details of the deal were not annoucned. EMSPIC is apparently exiting the business. ESO says it assumed responsibility for those systems on April 4th.
