Wayport Gets Two Healthcare Wins

Irving, Texas-based Wayport said today that it has scored two wins with healthcare organizations to provide public Internet access. financial impact of the two separate deals was not disclosed. In the first deal, Wayport said it will offer public Internet services to Sun Healthcare Group, which operates 208 skilled nursing, long-term care and assisted living and mental health centers in 25 states with approximately 22,986 operating beds. The deal covers 57 sites with more to follow. In the second deal, it will offer public internet to The Cooper Health System in Camden, NJ, to hospital and pavilion buildings. Wayport is an operator of public Wi-Fi access points at hotels, restaurants, and other locations.
