Spiceworks Ships IT Management Software

Austin, Texas-based Spiceworks has shipped Spiceworks IT Desktop, a desktop IT management software package, the firm said today. Version 1.0 of the tool is available for free to IT professionals, and can be used to provide network inventory, hardware and software monitoring. The release follows a beta the company released in July.
