VMETRO Adds PMC I/O Controller

Houston, Texas-based VMETRO, a designer of embedded products for the PMC and telecommunications market, said today that it is shipping a new I/O controller. The new controller, the Phoenix M6000, supports PMC and XMC standards, and is targeted at high data throughhput applications including military and aerospace applications. The controller supports VxWorks and Linux operating systems.
