Michael Dell Takes Back Helm, Returns As CEO

Round Rock, Texas-based Dell said Wednesday that founder Michael Dell has resumed duties as CEO, replacing current CEO Kevin Rollins. Rollins has resigned from both his position as CEO as well as his board seat. Michael Dell returns to a position he left in 2004, which he had held since founding the company in 1984. The move comes as Dell announced that it expects its fiscal 2007 results to be below the average of analysts polled by First Call.
