Eagle Broadband Buys Satellite Installation Business

League City, Texas-based Eagle Broadband, a provider of broadband, and IP communications technology and services, said Thursday that it has acquired the commercial satellite division of Alliance Maintenance & Services, Inc. Financial terms were not disclosed. Alliance's business provides installation of VSAT and broadcast satellite systems to the oil and gas industry. Eagle Broadband provides fixed and mobile satellite, IPTV, and IT services.
