CoVi Introduces High-Def Dome Security Camera

CoVi Technologies, a manufacturer of high-definition video surveillance equipment, announced Monday that it has expanded its MultiStream camera line with the introduction of the CVQ-3100 dome security camera. CoVi said the CVQ-3100 is designed to work within the company's proprietary Security Camera Area Network architecture, which is used for the deployment of video surveillance on IP networks. CoVi also said the CVQ-3100 can capture video in resolutions up to 1280 by 720 pixels, which results in images that are up to 12 times sharper than traditional analog camera systems. CoVi Technologies is headquartered in Austin, Texas and is venture backed by Oak Investment Partners, Polycom, TPG Ventures and Walden International.
