FameCast Raises $4.5M

Austin, Texas-based FameCast, an online competition focused on talent, has raised $4.5M in funding from Austin Ventures. FameCast operates an online site focused on discovering new stars in music, film, dance and comedy. FameCast is headed by Kent Savage, who has previously been in founding and executive roles at NetSpeed, NetPliance, TippingPoint, and Digital LifeStyles Group. More information »
