Portalarium Raises $7M More

Austin-based Portalarium, the social gaming startup founded by game developer Richard Garriott, has raised another $7M in funding, according to a report this morning. The new funding round came from m8 Capital, FF Angel, and BHV Venture Capital. The report, from VentureBeat, says the firm is prepping for the release of its Ultimate Collector title later this summer, plus also go towards its Ultimate RPG/New Brittania title. Ultimate Collector will be the firm's first title to hit the market. Both m8 Capital and FF Angel backed Portalarium in its prior round, in June of last year. More information »
